An Overview of CSEC 2008
This year our school sent up its first group of students to sit the CSEC examination. A number of disadvantages
faced that year group, most important being the uncertainty over whether the Science laboratories would have
been ready on time. As a result, the majority of the parents of those students who were performing well
academically, opted to transfer them from this school.
We are none the less quite satisfied by the fact that we have obtained five full certificates. Special mention must be
made of Music where seven students wrote the examination and received a 100% pass rate and Integrated
Science where thirty students passed out of forty three.
We look forward to the results of our next group where our top students decided to complete their education at this
institution. Congratulations to our successful students and our dedicated hard working members to staff.
